POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

· Payment for services is due upon completion of each job. Elevation Sitters accepts venmo, zelle and cash.

· A 4-hour minimum is required for each day and each job booked. If you do not use the full 4 hours, you will still be charged for 4 hours or the duration of the job, whichever is greater.

· All jobs booked will be charged for the hours requested. If you need to make changes to your return time, those changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For example, if you book 6 hours but return after only 4 hours, you will still be charged for the 6 hours originally booked.

· There is a $25 cancellation fee if you cancel your reservation after a sitter has been booked. All same-day reservations are final once a sitter has been booked. No exceptions. Canceling a same-day reservation will result in the 4-hour minimum charge.

· Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled service, you will be charged the 4-hour minimum.

· Inclement weather can pose a significant risk for our sitters traveling to your location. If severe weather prevents a sitter from safely reaching a babysitting job, Elevation Sitters reserves the right to cancel the reservation for that day. We will always do our best to provide service, but safety is our top priority. Major snowstorms may cause delays, rescheduling, and/or cancellations.

· COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is highly contagious and is believed to spread primarily through person-to-person contact. Federal, state, and local governments, as well as health agencies, may recommend social distancing and other public health measures.

As the booking party, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you, your children, and any member of your family, household, or travel party may be exposed to or infected with COVID-19 by utilizing our services. Whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after the sitter’s service, Elevation Sitters, its owners, employees, agents, and/or independently contracted sitters shall not be held liable.

· Elevation Sitters reserves the right to remove a sitter at any time if a child is ill. You will still be charged the 4-hour minimum if a sitter is removed due to illness. Determination of a child’s illness is at the sitter’s discretion; however, symptoms such as a cough or runny nose may result in a sitter’s removal. The sitter will not be replaced.

· All cancellations and reservation changes must be made directly through Elevation Sitters and not through the individual sitter.

· Children with special needs are warmly welcome. Additional charges may apply for our qualified special-needs sitters.

· Any child under the age of 18 who is present in the home, hotel, condo, or other location will be considered under the sitter’s care. In the event of an emergency, the sitter will be responsible for that child, and charges will apply accordingly.

· Under no circumstances may our sitters drive, ski, or swim with any child or children.

· Sitters may accompany and supervise children while using public transportation, including city buses, shuttles, taxis, Uber, Lyft, and similar services, at your request. You will be responsible for all associated fees.

· Any parking fees or activity costs incurred by a sitter while participating in activities with your child or children will be your responsibility.
